This is a commissioned painting. The request was for the painting to somehow include some curious cows, and a pumpkin. I don't ask, I just paint! This is what I came up with to fit the bill.

This is a rough sketch or wash. Just to lay out the design and decide if it is well composed and balanced.

First day of painting. Blocking in colors and shapes, establishing lights and darks.
